The Loyola Blakefield Soccer Program, headed by Coach Lee Tschantret, has over 100 players on five teams: Varsity, Junior Varsity, Freshmen , 8th grade and 7th grade. The Dons play in the MIAA “A” conference, arguably the toughest conference in Maryland. Coach Tschantretholds a USSF "B" Coaching License and has been coaching for over 20 years. Coach Lee has been a professional soccer player for over 19 years. He was the Captain of the US National Futsal Team, a starter in the 2007 Pan Am Games, a CONCACAF Gold Medal Winner and Futsal World Cup player. He is a three-time MISL Champion for the Baltimore Blast, an NPSL Champion for the Kansas City Attack, an outdoor professional soccer league A-League All Star and member of the First Team All League. He is a two-time All American for the University at Albany (NY). He is the 14th player in history to have scored over 1,000 career points in Major Indoor League Soccer. Coach Tschantret brings a wealth of real world soccer experience to the benefit of his teams. He is passionately dedicated to the growth and development of all his players, both mentally and physically.
