LOYOLA COMMUNITY COLLECTS SUPPLIES TO HELP LOUISIANA FLOOD VICTIMS

Recent deadly flooding has decimated the state of Louisiana, and this week the Loyola community took action to help those affected. Led by history teacher and Louisiana native Mr. Anthony Zehyoue, in just two days members of the Loyola Blakefield community donated hundreds of items including work gloves, disposable face masks, shovels, hammers, trash bags, buckets, and other supplies to aid in the cleanup. Mr. Zehyoue and his wife, Leah, are headed down to Baton Rouge this weekend to deliver the supplies and join in the relief effort. Thanks to all who stepped up and supported this cause in such a short amount of time!
