COVID-19 Update

Although our campus is currently closed, school is operating on a distance learning model. Also, members of our staff are working remotely. During this unprecedented period, the Office of Development wants to continue to be a resource for you and help enable your support of our mission.

Can I reach a member of the Development Team? Yes. Please use email as that is the best form of contact at this time. Team members are listed on this page.

How can I support Loyola at this time?
The interruption to the school year has altered the learning environment, but great work continues daily. One impact on our school year is the inability to host alumni and community events as well as meet with our benefactors face-to-face.

We urgently need your support via gifts to the Loyola Fund in order to meet the needs of our Dons. The Loyola Fund covers nearly 10% of our school’s operating budget each year. It supports critical resources that benefit all students, faculty, staff, and families we serve. During these uncertain times, maintaining operational resources is of top priority.

Gifts can still be made online. Also, you can contact Adam Trice, Director of Development, to discuss your giving options.

How can I fulfill a pledge payment? Although we continue to accept gifts through all existing channels (including mail), online giving is strongly encouraged while our facilities are closed. All gifts will be processed and acknowledged as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience while acknowledgments may take a little longer than usual.

If you would like to discuss a gift or pledge status, please contact Adam Trice, Director of Development.

What about campus events? Many events have been affected by COVID-19. Please check our campus calendar and our COVID-19 Community Response page for updates.

How can I support local alumni-based businesses (like restaurants) during this time? We have organized a list of restaurants owned by members of the Loyola Blakefield community. Please consider supporting them for delivery and carryout.

How can I stay in touch with Loyola Blakefield virtually?
We encourage you to keep an eye on your inbox for updates and follow us on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). You can also check out our Daily Examen and Live Stream Masses (we will post times for these in advance) via our Campus Ministry team.
