College Counseling

Loyola Blakefield provides comprehensive college counseling that begins with group planning and information sessions in the sophomore year. In the junior and senior year, counselors conduct group and individual meetings with students and parents. Each student has a specified counselor who works with the student and his family to identify and review strengths, weaknesses and interests in order to set specific college goals.

While students are encouraged to challenge themselves and stretch and grow, Loyola Blakefield encourages families to make the college decision that best meets the needs of the student and the needs of the family.
