Multicultural Club Attends Loyola University's 27th Annual MLK Convocation
Last night, Michael Nwafor '20, Mateen Kane '21, and Farrell Gregory '22 of our Multicultural Club, accompanied by Mr. White, Mr. O'Kane, and Mrs. Smith, attended Loyola University Maryland's 27th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Convocation. Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II, pastor and social justice advocate, served as the keynote speaker as he encouraged all those in attendance to understand, especially in light of Dr. King's legacy, the need to be urgent towards working for economic justice for all.
Mateen Kane at @LoyolaDons is hoping to gain insight about how Dr. King has influenced @RevDrBarber not only spiritually, but in advocacy and social justice @MLKatLoyola pic.twitter.com/sIY2dF0p6d
