Several National History Day Projects Qualify for Baltimore County District Contest

Our History Department hosted their annual schoolwide National History Day Contest in the Performance Gym during Exam Week on Thursday, January 12, as students shared more than 80 presentations on a variety of historical topics, while faculty and staff judged the displays and presentations. The theme for this year's contest is Frontiers in History: People, Places, Ideas.

Congratulations to the following Dons who will move on to compete in their respective categories at the Baltimore County District History Day Contest at Towson University in March. If they place high enough there, they will move on to the Maryland History Day State Contest held at UMBC in May. The 2023 National Contest will be held June 11–15 at the University of Maryland, College Park.
