Frankie Andrews '19 Receives Second Place in Anne Frank Essay Competition

Congratulations to Frankie Andrews '19, who was awarded second place in the Lessons From Anne Frank Essay Competition, sponsored by the Jesuit Refugee Service/USA. The winners were announced April 12, in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day, Yom Hashoah.

The competition, a collaboration between the Jesuit Schools Network, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and America Media, was held as an opportunity to raise awareness and conversation around the lives of refugees and how Jesuit-educated students can take action.

"I am honored and humbled by the award, and I hope that the ideals and sentiments described in all three winning essays continued to be shared by the members of the Jesuit community," said Andrews.
