Loyola Film Club Hosts Second Annual Film Festival
The Loyola Blakefield Film Club held its Second Annual Film Fest on Saturday, April 14, featuring 12 films from Loyola, Bryn Mawr, and George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology students. The event was judged by Carver Film teacher Khalid Ali, Towson University Art History & Photography Lecturer Liz Donadio, and Loyola English teacher Joe LaBella. Films were judged in three categories including Narrative, Experimental, and Documentary.
"I was struck by the quality of the films submitted this year," said Mr. Brad Ziegler '10, Loyola Digital Media teacher and Film Club Moderator. "It was impressive to see students exploring such varied subject matter through the filmmaking process, ranging from their innermost thoughts to contemporary events."
