American Politics Club Hosts Mark Pennak to Discuss Gun Control

After school on Wednesday, April 18, the American Politics Club hosted guest speaker Mark Pennak, Executive Director of Maryland Shall Issue, an organization dedicated to the preservation and advancement of gun owners' rights in Maryland. Mr. Pennak is recently retired from the United States Department of Justice where he practiced law for 33 years in the Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court. This was a continuation from our Reflections of Gun Violence in America program organized by the American Politics Club and Office of Campus Ministry in March in an effort to promote constructive discourse on the issue of gun violence in America.
