Track & Field Dons Come Up Big at MIAA Championships

Congratulations to our Track & Field Dons on their outstanding performances at the MIAA Championships, which took place over the course of two days last week. They placed 4th overall, and here are a few highlights from the meet:

-The team started off the MIAA Championships with a 3rd place finish in the 4x200m Relay (Ky Richards '19, Brodie Holmes '18, Tyree Williams-Jackson '18, & Garner Randazzo '18). Their time of 1:30.87 was a season best.

-Camden Gilmore '19 finished 2nd in the 3200m (9:29.38) & was crowned MIAA Champion of the 1600m with a personal record (4:19.33).

-Ky Richards ‘19 was crowned the MIAA Triple Jump Champion, winning the event with a personal best jump of 43’9”. He also placed 3rd in the Long Jump (20’10 1/2”).

-Ronan Sullivan '19 (4:27.41) & Connor Verrett '19 (4:31.21) both scored in the 1600m and both had personal records.

-Brodie Holmes ‘18 finished 2nd in the 200m Dash with a school record time of 21.86. The previous school record was held by coach John Davenport ‘09.

-Garner Randazzo '18 was crowned champion of the 300m Hurdles with a personal record of 40.30. Also, Andrew Ray ‘21 placed 7th in the event with a PR of 43.68.
