Two Dons Named All-Metro in Lacrosse
Congratulations to Liam Bateman '18 (First Team) and Alex Reid '18 (Second Team) who were recently named All-Metro by The Baltimore Sun for lacrosse.
A four-year varsity player, senior captain Bateman led the Dons with 35 goals and 26 assists (61 points) during the 2018 season. He scored four or more goals in MIAA "A" Conference wins over St. Paul's, Mount Saint Joseph, and Gilman, and in the quarterfinal against Severn.
Alex and Liam were also selected to the 2018 All-MIAA team, and Liam was a finalist for the prestigious C. Markland Kelly Award. He will be attending Loyola University Maryland next year, while Alex is headed to Towson University.
In other lacrosse news, our varsity squad was ranked 10th in the nation this year via US Lacrosse Magazine.
