Trent Geritz '19 Advances to Match Play, Falls to #1 Seed in U.S. Junior Amateur Championship

Congratulations to Trent Geritz '19, who, after qualifying for the United States Golf Association's 2018 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship a few weeks ago, advanced to match play on Tuesday at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, NJ, as the 64th and final seed. During the Round of 64 on Wednesday, he managed to challenge the #1 seed all the way to the 17th hole, but fell short of advancing to the Round of 32. "The U.S. Junior Amateur Championship was an incredible experience because I had the opportunity to play against the best junior golfers in the world at one of the best courses in the world," said Geritz.
