Student-Athlete of the Week (Sept. 5–12)

Beginning this year, our Athletics Department will honor a student-athlete each week for his standout performance. This week goes to Camden Gilmore '19, who placed first in the Howard County Invitational meet last weekend.

"Camden may be the smartest runner I have ever coached," said Coach Albornoz. "Fearless against any competition, he does not get rattled if he is behind three or four minutes into a race. Last week, he started through the first half mile in about seventh place. By two miles he was tied for the lead, a half-mile later he was thirty seconds ahead of the field and cruised to an easy win."
