Visual Arts Students Visit Philadelphia

Last Friday, 49 of our visual arts students from architecture, digital media, photography, ceramics, drawing, and painting classes were accompanied by five faculty members to the Philadelphia Museum of Art where they saw architectural gems such as the ancient Japanese Tea House installation, as well as works by Picasso, Thomas Eakins, Marcel Duchamp, and other 20th century modernists. They spent the second half of the day at the Barnes Foundation, a one-of-a-kind private art collection now on public display featuring hundreds of works by Renoir, Cezanne, Picasso, Matisse, Van Gogh, Soutine, and more.
