Seventh Grade Retreat with Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy

Our 7th grade students held their annual joint retreat with students from Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy on Friday, November 16. The theme of this year's retreat was “Brothers Together.” Our connection to the Academy run deep as several Academy graduates enroll in our high school each year, some of our faculty and staff have taught or are connected to the Academy, and we are both Jesuit schools working to bring out the best in our young men.

Ahmed Jackson '17 even stopped by to speak with students about his Jesuit education as a Knight, a Don, and now a Loyola University Greyhound. He currently serves as President of Loyola University's Black Student Union. He is also one of the founding members of Greyhounds on the Go—a project that works to create relationships between Loyola students and Baltimore City students in order to encourage the pursuit of a college education.

Thanks to our Interim Director of Campus Ministries Mr. Justin White for organizing another great day for these young men.
