Modern Languages Department Hosts Italian Arts & Crafts Day to Celebrate Epiphany

To celebrate the Epiphany, Dr. Rossana Barbera and Mr. Daniel Ranalli of our Modern Languages Department invited Mrs. Fiorenza Castelli, an Italian teacher at Casa Italiana Language School in Washington DC, to visit with our 6th graders on Monday. She led the students in several arts and crafts projects and spoke about La Befana, an Italian folklore about a witch who brings good children treats on the morning of the Epiphany.
