Freshman Basketball Crowned BCL Champs for Third Straight Year

Loyola Blakefield's freshman basketball team was crowned 2019 Baltimore Catholic League Champions after defeating Archbishop Spalding 57–35 in the finals on February 26. This is the team's third consecutive BCL Championship and the fourth straight appearance in the finals. The team lost in the MIAA “A” Conference Championship on Tuesday, February 19. This is the second year in a row the “Baby Dons” have played in both leagues’ championship games. The Dons ended the season with a 16-3 record.
