Student-Athlete of the Week (April 17–24)
Senior captain and teeing off in the #1 spot for varsity golf this year, Trent began the second half of conference play by winning his match and leading the Dons to a convincing win over a very solid Gilman team on April 24. However, his play on April 17 is what will go noticed by all golf enthusiasts. Trent nailed a pressure-filled birdie putt on the final hole to win the team portion of the MIAA Individuals Championship. "Any team tends to take on the personality of its leader," said Coach Mike Messina '86. "Our team gets its confidence, determination, and heart from Trent. We wouldn't be where we are today without him."
