Indoor Track & Field Has Solid Showing at MIAA Championships

Loyola Indoor Track & Field competed in the MIAA Championships at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Center in Landover on Friday night. Senior Hayden Roberts took third place in the 1600m with his best time ever of 4:27. Aaron Ray '21 placed third in the 300m with a personal best of 36.25. The final event of the evening was the 4 x 400m Relay where Aaron Ray, Andrew Ray, Ryan Nickel, and Hayden Roberts ran a fantastic race to finish in third place with the team's best time this year (3:33.39). On the JV level, Colin Verrett won both the 1600m and the 3200m to lead the JV team to a second-place finish overall.
