Loyola Speech & Debate Kicks Off Season at First BCFL Tournament
Congratulations to our Speech & Debate Dons who kicked off their season at the first Baltimore Catholic Forensic League (BCFL) Tournament of the school year hosted by Calvert Hall on October 8. Andy Wang '23 earned gold in Extemporaneous Speaking, while team co-captain Nathan Li '23 earned silver in Extemporaneous Speaking and bronze in Student Congress. Co-captain Zach Lyons '22 Colt Simpson '24, Evan Maddox '24, Ryan Beveridge '25, and Kenny Tyler '25 also competed. Their next tournament is at Baltimore City College on October 29.
