SWIMMING WINS 20TH MIAA CHAMPIONSHIP IN 21 YEARS

Both varsity and JV swimming captured MIAA titles on Saturday, February 4, at McDonogh. JV won all but one event in their meet and took the top three places in many of the individual events, while varsity, led by double individual winner Matt Clark '19 (200 Free and 500 Free), outscored second place McDonogh and third place Calvert Hall to earn their 20th MIAA championship in 21 years.

In addition, Matt Clark '19 set a new pool record at Blakefield during the preliminary round on Friday in the 200-yard freestyle. Also during the same prelims, sophomore Will Pelton broke a 16-year-old pool record in the 100-yard backstroke.
