SPEECH & DEBATE CAPTURES SECOND PLACE AT PENNSBURY FALCON INVITATIONAL

This past weekend, Loyola Speech & Debate captured 2nd place in the Speech Sweepstakes out of 65 schools from 11 states at the Pennsbury Falcon Invitational in Pennsylvania. Please congratulate the following students for their award-winning performances:

Top Presiding Officer Award

As a result of his strong performance, Jonathan Bollinger earned a bid to the Tournament of Champions at the University of Kentucky in April. Also, Luke Scaletta became the first Don since Nick Bateman in 2008 to win multiple championships at this tournament.

The team only has three more competitions before the Baltimore Catholic Forensics League (BCFL) State Championship at Catonsville High School on March 25.
