This tournament marks the conclusion of the regular season. Qualifiers for the state championship on March 25 will be announced later this week.
In other Loyola Speech & Debate news, mathematics teacher Andrew Monteleone was elected tournament director of the Baltimore Catholic Forensic League this year, and he has done an outstanding job organizing all of the local tournaments and keeping them running smoothly.
Also, Dr. Steve Moss, who has been helping out with the program this year, was appointed chair of the final round of dramatic performance at February’s Harvard National Invitational. This tournament featured thousands of students and hundreds of schools from across the country.
