TRACK & FIELD TAKES FOURTH AT MIAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
On Monday, May 15, Loyola Blakefield Varsity Track & Field finished in fourth place at the MIAA "A" Conference Championships hosted by McDonogh with notable performances by Andrew Ankeny '17 (Pole Vault Champion), Patrick Sawyer '17 (2nd Place - Pole Vault), Brodie Holmes '18 (3rd Place - 400m), Camden Gilmore '19 (3rd Place - 3200m), and Austin Eby '17, Teddy Turrall '17, Aganze Nkere '18, and Gilmore (3rd Place - 4X800m Relay).
JV also finished in fourth place, with Connor Verrett '19 taking first place in the 3200m and 2nd place in the 1600m with a JV school record time of 4:39.
