Loyola Blakefield Names Newest Member of Leadership Team

Sue Yancisin has been named Director of Business Services. She joined Loyola as Director of Accounting and Financial Aid in 2014. In her new role, she will oversee the school’s finance operations, human resources, and facilities management. “Sue has brought a tremendous amount of dedication to every aspect of her duties at Loyola,” said President Anthony Day. “In her new role, we will benefit from having her involved in a variety of strategic priorities, as well as serving as a member of our leadership team. We are blessed to have Sue’s talent and her commitment to our mission.”

During her time at Loyola, Sue has served as a member of the Enrollment Management Team, led successful annual financial audits, and has been instrumental in Loyola’s movement to an automated tuition payment system. As Director of Business Services, she is eager to get more involved in other areas of operation. “I’m looking forward to getting more involved with summer camp and facilities rentals, obtaining a better understanding of the physical plant operations, and continuing my work with the enrollment committee, specifically with the financial aid process,” said Yancisin. “I also hope to have more opportunities to participate in Christian service activities and devote more time to better understand the needs of our faculty, staff, and students.”

Sue has over 20 years of experience in financial management, accounting, and business operations. Prior to joining Loyola, she spent the majority of her years at Stanley Black & Decker in accounting and finance roles. In her spare time, she enjoys running, tennis and travel.

A native of Millstone, New Jersey, Sue attended Pennsylvania State University and began her career in Baltimore with Arthur Anderson LLP in 1995. Sue resides in Towson with her husband, Matt, and their three children: Caroline (16), Emily (13), and Kyle (9).

As a member Loyola’s leadership team, Sue will be leading key elements of our strategic plan and continue to influence our commitment to an educational experience that forms the whole person. “I find it inspiring to work in a place where our students’ lives are being shaped in ways that will form them for life,” said Yancisin. “It is great to have a small part in supporting their educational journey here.”
