Adam Trice Named Director of Development

After a comprehensive search process that yielded a number of highly qualified candidates, we are excited to announce that Mr. Adam Trice has been named Loyola Blakefield’s Director of Development.

Adam joined Loyola in April 2016 as Director of Major Gifts. In his role, he will oversee all fundraising programs, constituent relations, and outreach initiatives. “Adam has been instrumental in creating connections between those who cherish the Loyola experience and the many opportunities to see it flourish. His engagement of our local, regional, and national community to secure support has already made a tremendous impact on the lives of our students, “ said President Anthony Day.

Adam has over 13 years of experience in business development, sales, fundraising, and event management. For over ten years, he has been tasked with securing gifts in the $5K – multi-million-dollar range. During his first year at Loyola, he successfully secured many corporate and foundation grants that filled critical funding priorities and created increased opportunity to expand programming and scholarship support. An active member of the school community, he has served as an adult leader on our Kairos retreat.

Prior to joining Loyola, Adam served as the Director of Advancement at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. He also served as Director of Foundation Relations at Capitol College, now Capitol Technology University.

A native of Carroll County, Adam attended University of Maryland, Baltimore County (B.A. English) and University of Baltimore (M.F.A. Writing/Publishing). He currently resides in Owings Mills with his wife, Anna, and their two children: Henry (5) and Emma (1). His personal interests include writing, songwriting, camping, and hiking with his family.

The newest member of Loyola’s leadership team, Adam is excited to continue working with faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and friends to secure valuable resources for our Dons and to invest in the future of Loyola. “It’s inspiring to be part of a community that is always striving for the Magis,” said Trice. “It’s extremely rewarding to work for a mission-driven organization that builds lasting relationships, embraces service for others, and is committed to impacting the lives of future generations of young leaders in this world.”
