Fischer Program Celebrates Eighth Year

Last Friday, we hosted a special closing ceremony for students in our Fischer Program, which is in its eighth year on our campus. The program welcomed 44 young scholars from Baltimore City and County over the course of five weeks this summer. This was the also the first year we welcomed rising 4th and 5th graders to participate.

During the morning sessions, students immersed themselves in studies focused on math, English, science, and the humanities. In the afternoons, our scholars engaged in fun activities around campus, and each Friday, they ventured off-campus to jump around at Sky Zone, view a movie at Towson Cinemark, and race around the track at the Autobahn Indoor Speedway.

We are so proud of these scholars and grateful to all the teachers and staff who made this year's program possible. We are also excited that six Fischer Program graduates will be joining us for the 2022–23 school year as 9th graders, adding to the growing list of students who have gone from Fischer scholar to Loyola Don!
