• Complete Your Application

  Complete our online application, which requires the creation of an online account. There is a $50 application fee for each applicant.
  
  Note: If you are applying for 7th or 8th grade, please contact the Admissions Team prior to beginning your son’s application.

• Schedule Your Don for a Day Visit

  A vital component of the admissions process is a visit to our campus. After completing your son’s online application, you will receive access to schedule your son’s day-long visit to campus. Before your son’s day begins, each family will be invited to a brief reception followed by the opportunity to spend time learning more about Loyola with members of the Loyola community. 

• Register for Middle School Entrance Exam

  Candidates for admission to Loyola’s middle school (6th, 7th, and 8th grade) must take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or submit test results from MAP testing taken at their school from spring 2022 and fall 2023. Loyola Blakefield will be an ISEE testing center on  Saturday, December 7th, 2024. Registration will open September 2024. To register for the ISEE at Loyola, you will need to use the event code: BYZMTVU8. 
   
  Students are not required to take the test here at Loyola. The test is offered at Baltimore area schools throughout the fall. You can find a list of the other test locations, dates, and times, as well as the online registration form on the ERB website. 
   
  Test results must be received no later than  January 8, 2025. 

• Submit Records Request & Common Referral Form

  In order for an applicant’s prior school to release his transcripts and standardized test results, parents must submit to the school Loyola’s Request for Records and Referral Forms, authorizing their release. This form must be signed by the parent and should be submitted to the applicant’s current school principal or counselor.
  
  Loyola asks that, if possible, to please have two referral forms submitted by two of your son’s teachers. Records must be received by January 8, 2025. Applicants from an AIMS school may also use the AIMS Common Referral Form.  
  
  

  Additional Student Materials
  Loyola welcomes your son to submit additional materials to help us better understand his community engagement or unique gifts and talents. Additional materials could include creative writing samples, artwork, or links to videos of musical, artistic, or athletic performances. Please email admissions@loyolablakefield.org with links, pictures, or documents so we can be sure to upload them to his admissions profile.

• Apply for Aid (optional)

  Loyola strives to provide financial assistance to qualifying families. In order to be eligible for financial aid consideration, please complete the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment (FACTS) online by January 2, 2025.
