Meet Bryce

FEATURING:

Bryce Llewellyn '26

As the next installment of our Summer Spotlight series, we recognize Bryce Llewellyn '26 as he prepares to continue his academic journey at Washington and Lee University, where he will study Business Administration.

For Bryce, Loyola Blakefield has always been more than a school—it has been home. Having been part of the Loyola community since a young age, with three older brothers who also graduated from Blakefield, Bryce entered high school already connected to the brotherhood that defines the Don experience.

Reflecting on his time at Loyola, Bryce shared how meaningful experiences both on campus and beyond helped shape who he has become. During his sophomore year, Bryce traveled with the varsity volleyball team to Puerto Rico to compete in the Jesuit Classic. While there, the team also participated in a service project at a local food pantry, an experience that left a lasting impression.

"One lesson I will always carry with me is to never be afraid to reach out, because you never truly know how someone is feeling or the impact a simple act of kindness can have," Bryce said.

Throughout his time at Loyola, Bryce embraced opportunities to lead and serve. As Student Government Association President and captain of the volleyball team, he embodied the values of teamwork, service, and academic excellence. Those qualities earned him the 2026 Troy M. Vance '85 Endowed Scholarship, a prestigious award presented annually to a senior who exemplifies excellence in academics, athletics, and service to others.

Bryce also credits the support and mentorship of Loyola faculty members who helped guide him throughout his journey, especially Mr. Schroeder.

"His compassion and care have been truly meaningful," Bryce said. "My favorite part of being a Don has been the relationships I have built with my classmates and teachers. I know that no matter where life takes me, there will always be someone from Loyola willing to pick up the phone."

As Bryce begins his next chapter at Washington and Lee University, he leaves Loyola with a deep appreciation for the relationships, service, and brotherhood that shaped his experience. We congratulate him and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes in the years ahead.
