Loyola Joins National Jesuit Schools Food Drive Challenge

This year, we are hosting our Fall Food Drive in partnership with the Great Ignatian Challenge, an annual holiday food drive competition between fifteen Jesuit schools across seven states, intended to raise students’ awareness of hunger and inspire them to take action by working to fill their local food banks, pantries, and community centers with tens of thousands of pounds of much-needed provisions.

We are once again supporting St. Gregory the Great Church and members of the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood of West Baltimore by attempting to collect 25,000 lbs. of healthy canned food items for their food pantry by Thursday, Nov. 18.

As men and women for others, we are asking our entire community to consider helping in one of the following ways:

  1.  Bring in healthy canned food items to one of our on-campus drop-off locations including Knott Dining Hall, Burk Hall lobby, or outside of Sheridan Hall.

  2. Purchase items online via this Amazon Wishlist, which will be sent directly to St. Gregory's.
