Loyola Blakefield Voted Best Private School in the Region

Loyola Blakefield has been voted as the region’s Best Private School by The Baltimore Sun via their Best 2022 Readers’ Choice Contest. The annual reader poll provides an opportunity for individuals to cast votes for their favorite people, places, and organizations. The complete list of winners will be published in the paper’s July 10th issue.

“We are grateful to all those who recognize the extraordinary mission that guides Loyola—an unrelenting commitment to educational excellence, service to others, and preparing young men to be tomorrow’s leaders,” said Anthony Day, President. “As a Catholic, Jesuit school, we are inspired by values that go well beyond what students learn in the classroom. We foster a community where every student reaches his full potential and recognizes the critical role he plays in seeking justice, serving others, and using his gifts for the greater good.”

In addition to this honor, Loyola has also been named one of the region’s Top Workplaces by the Sun for the past decade. Loyola is also currently ranked as The Daily Record’s Top Private High School and Top Catholic High School (2021).

With a recent historic capital campaign and major building projects in its wake, Loyola continues to evolve and grow as a global leader in Jesuit education. The school will begin its 171st academic year in the fall. “Our mission thrives because our alumni, families, and benefactors believe in the enduring impact of a Loyola education,” said Day. “We also have the most talented and dedicated faculty and staff who deliver an unrivaled experience that forms the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.”
