Volleyball Dons take part in Fourth Annual Jesuit Classic Volleyball Tournament
Our varsity volleyball team spent this past weekend in Buffalo for the Fourth Annual Jesuit Classic Volleyball Tournament hosted by Canisius High School. They competed against Canisius, McQuaid Jesuit, and Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola, Puerto Rico. After finishing third in the group stage, they pulled off a thrilling comeback in the semifinals over McQuaid before losing to the four-time tournament champions Colegio San Ignacio in the finals.
Our Dons also shadowed Canisius students during their school day, visited Niagara Falls (which included a trip on the Maid of the Mist), and paired up with students from the other schools for several community service projects including preparing and handing out meals at St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy Church in East Buffalo and organizing supplies at The Teacher’s Desk, which provides free school supplies for teachers of students in need.
