Indoor Track & Field MIAA Championships

Loyola Blakefield's Indoor Track and Field team had some standout performances at the MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships this past Friday. The team secured a commendable third-place finish overall and came into the night with a #4 ranking.
 
The quartet of Nick LaGreca '25, Liam Lucas '24, Bryce Robinson '24, and Andrew Rowan '24 demonstrated exceptional teamwork and speed, clinching victory in the fiercely competitive 4x800 meter relay event.
 
Khary Adams '26 emerged as a standout performer, dominating the 300m dash with his explosive speed and claiming the top spot on the podium. Meanwhile, Jack Wachter '24showcased his exceptional talent in the pole vault, not only securing victory but also setting a new meet record.
 
Will Coyne '25 delivered a strong performance in the pole vault, earning a respectable second-place finish. Daniel McCormick '26 showcased his jumping prowess with a solid third-place finish in the long jump, while Matt Johnson '24 secured third place for the Dons in the shot put event.
 
The relay team comprising McCormick, Adams, Nathan Perez '24, and Matthew Redrick '24 clinched a third-place finish in the 4 x 200 meter relay event, further highlighting Loyola Blakefield's depth and talent on the track.
