James Conway '21 Wins NCAA Elite 90 Award

As the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship commenced, James Conway '21 learned that he was was the recipient of the Elite 90 Award. Per the Franklin & Marshall Athletics website, "Conway's first appearance at the NCAA Championships was highlighted by his first round win against returning All-American Chris Foca of Cornell as he secured the winning takedown with just one second remaining during the 5-4 victory."

According the NCAA, "the Elite 90 recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The Elite 90 is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA’s 90 championships."
