VARSITY BASEBALL COACH JIM CROWLEY STEPS DOWN

After eight years with the Loyola Blakefield baseball program, Coach Jim Crowley is stepping down. Coach Crowley spent his first year as head coach of the JV team and the other seven years as the varsity head coach. Coach Crowley’s teams were always well coached and prepared, with varsity reaching the playoffs five of seven seasons under his tenure and achieving close to a .600 winning percentage. Every year, some of his players would make the All-MIAA team, and several of his past players are still playing in collegiate programs.

Loyola baseball is in a good place thanks to Jim and his staff’s efforts, and the future of the program looks bright. We wish Coach Crowley the best of luck in his future endeavors.
