ITALIAN STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT SARDINIAN CULTURE

Our middle and upper school Italian students spent the morning of February 7 learning about the region of Sardinia, the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea behind Sicily. Students had the chance to practice a unique Sardinian dance called Su Ballu Tundu, which was performed by two Sardinian natives, Stefano Useli and Sara Piddiu.

Lastly, students indulged in some homemade traditional Sardinian pastries including Formagelle, Sospiri, Amaretti, Chiacchere, and Papassini, which were made by Daniela Useli. Thanks to our own Dr. Rossana Barbera for putting this lesson together.
