LOYOLA SQUASH PLACES FIFTH AT NATIONALS

The Loyola Blakefield Varsity Squash Team competed in the 2017 U.S. High School Team Championships in Connecticut this past weekend. After a blizzard delayed their departure and the flu knocked out their #2 player Alex Harmon, the Dons managed to place 5th out of 15 teams in Division VI. Despite being knocked off in the second round, the team went 3-1 overall.

Congratulations to all of the Dons who played in the tournament including Jack Mulliken, Mike Determan, Charlie Ihle, Slater Greenwell, Alec Cerasoli, Ethan Englert, and Hugh Mohler. Special congratulations to Ethan Englert who won all four of his matches. Thanks to Coach Joe Lacy for continuing to support this great program at Loyola.
