Samuel has now received an invitation to the USA Volleyball High Performance Holiday Camp. The 2017 Incoming Boys Youth Holiday National Training Program will take place in California from Dec 26–30, and will consist of 40 players identified from 2017 Summer Programs as top performers in their position. The Holiday Program brings together these players along with top coaches to observe, train, and develop the talent pool prior to start the 2018 season. Athletes in attendance have been identified for potential contention of a spot on the 2018 Boys Youth National Team that will compete in the NORCECA Junior Championships next year.
