In 2017, the team won its first championship in 71 years. In 2018 and 2019, they made it to the semifinals. Many Dons have gone on to play at Division I, II, and III schools including University of Virginia, University of Maryland, Clemson University, Johns Hopkins University, High Point University, Towson University, University of Mount Olive, USC–Aiken, and Wheeling Jesuit University. The program also boasts one of the best training facilities in the area for high school baseball and uses HitTrax, Blast Motion, and Rapsoda in the off-season to improve players.
