LBAA Hosts Cyber Security Professional Networking Night

October is Cyber Security Awareness Month, and due to the ever-growing popularity of the Loyola Blakefield Cyber Science Program, the Alumni Office collaborated with Director of Cyber Science Mr. Steve Morrill on an event to bring alumni, parents, and students together who have a shared interest in cyber security. The event was a huge success, selling out on the night of. This naugural event included a presentation from Mr. Morrill, a detailed introduction on behalf of the entire senior class involved in cyber, and a panel of notable speakers in the cyber field providing valuable insight on today’s fierce cyber security field. Speakers included Information Systems Security Professional at Defense Security Service Alex Gibson ’96, current student at Embry-Riddle Nigel Goldsborough ’15, and FBI Special Agent in Charge Gordon Johnson.
