Middle School Hosts 8th Grade Career Day

Last Friday, our middle school hosted a Career Day for our 8th graders with the help of five 8th grade dads who came in to speak about their professions. Thanks to Dr. Lawrence Jackson '86 (Author & Professor), Stuart Schadt Esq. '84 (Lawyer), Lanny Klug '93 (Entrepreneur), Dr. Fermin Barrueto (Physician), and Capt. Eliot Latchaw (Police Captain) for stopping by and sharing their experiences.

Dr. Lawrence Jackson '86 has authored several books and is a Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of English and History at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Fermin Barrueto has been the chairman for the Department of Emergency Medicine for eight years and is now the chief medical officer for UM Upper Chesapeake Health.
