Anthony King '22 Awarded Health & Wellness Scholarship

Congratulations to Anthony King ’22 who was recently named the recipient of the Educators Benefit Services (EBS) “Well Educated” Tuition Scholarship Award. Students who display and exemplify the main pillars of well-being were nominated by faculty and staff. After reviewing several nominations, our Health & Wellness Committee chose Anthony to receive the $2,000 tuition award.

Anthony was nominated by Mr. Chris Cucuzzella who works with him as an adult leader in his Boy Scout Troop. “The principles of scouting align with the many pillars of well-being that were identified by the committee," said Mr. Cucuzzella. "The boys are active, outside, doing activities, taking care of themselves, making their own meals, etc. Anthony is a wonderful role model to the younger scouts as well." Not only is Anthony a member of the Boy Scouts, he is also on Loyola’s swimming and water polo teams, participates in cyber security, and is an honors student.
