JV Game
Loyola Blakefield: 10
McDonogh School: 6
Win!

What a great game played by both teams. Although McDonogh was able to defend our offense well, our Dons kept finding ways of scoring the goals needed to win the game. Goal Scorers were Chris Doyle, Patrick Galvez (4), David Lamarca (4) and Abe Plimpton. Wolfie Thompson had four goalie saves.

Varsity Game
Loyola Blakefield: 6
McDonogh School: 5
Win!

Each practice we run eight “30 second drills” which are 6 on 6, be assertive and find a way to score a goal. Today’s game was why we run it. A close game from beginning to the end, our Dons chased the Eagles to a tied game at the half, a scoreless third period, a tied fourth period, two scoreless 3:00 overtimes, and a final goal with 39.4 seconds left in the sudden death overtime. Great play from everyone.

Goals were scored by Jake Breschi, Gabe Moreno (3), Adam Musselman and Ben Shropshire. Matt Clark won the first swim-off, along with all three overtime swim-offs. Jake Breschi won the second, third and fourth swim-offs. Brandon Elliott had 16 saves in regular play and 4 additional saves in overtime.
