KENNY ROWE '16 QUALIFIES FOR NCAA TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Georgetown freshman Kenny Rowe '16 has qualified for the 2017 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted in College Station, Texas, this Friday and Saturday, March 11–12. He will run as part of Georgetown’s Distance Medley Relay Team.
According to Loyola Track Coach Chris Cucuzzella, Kenny is the first Don to qualify for the NCAA championships in track and field. Kevin Corbusier ’12 qualified for the NCAA Cross Country Championships in 2014.
Also, this past weekend at the IC4A/ECAC Championships hosted by Boston University, Kenny finished second in the 800-meter finals (1:50.51), breaking his own persional record.
