Student-Athlete of the Week (Dec. 5–12)
Our Student-Athlete of the Week for Dec. 5–12 is Jeremiah Aybar '22. A member of the varsity wrestling team, Jeremiah was crowned the 145 lb. champion at the Knightmare Invitational at Parkville High School this past weekend, leading the Dons to a first place finish. He was also voted most outstanding middleweight wrestler of the tournament.
"In his first tournament of the season, Jeremiah came through without giving up a point," said Coach Truitt. "He pinned all three of his opponents in the first period. Jeremiah is a quiet leader who leads by example. He's a very talented wrestler who works hard and is extremely dedicated to his craft."
