The Front Page Highlights

The Blakefield Players presented five performances of their fall play, The Front Page, from October 13–21. The comedy, written by Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur, is about a death row fugitive who escapes from the police on the same day the Governor issues his pardon. Fearful he will be taken to the gallows, the convict hides in the precinct right under the cops’ noses, unaware that he has been granted his freedom. View photos from the play below.
