Ty Trinh '20 Named Baltimore Sun Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Ty Trinh '20, who was named The Baltimore Sun Boy Athlete of the Week on December 26. Trinh shined at the Frostbite Invitational on December 22 at the Prince George’s County Sports and Learning Complex in Hyattsville, including two first-place finishes. Trinh set a meet record in the triple jump (46 feet, 0.5 inches) to qualify for New Balance Nationals Indoor and Penn Relays. He also claimed the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 7.99 seconds. In addition, he took second in the long jump. During the previous weekend, Trinh won the triple jump at Bishop Loughlin Games in New York.
