Meet Brayden

FEATURING:

Brayden Hicks '26

As part of our Student Summer Spotlight series, we are proud to recognize Brayden Hicks '26 as he prepares for an exciting next chapter at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where he plans to study Journalism and Mass Communications.

"My time at Loyola has shown me the importance to challenge myself while supporting those around me," Brayden said. "Being a Don means being part of a community that encourages leadership; being a man for and with others, and growth. I'm excited to continue my education at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where I plan to pursue my studies in Journalism and Mass Communications and build from the foundation Blakefield has given me."

Throughout his time at Loyola, Brayden has embraced opportunities to lead, serve, and connect with others. His involvement has included serving as BSU Director of Marketing and Communications, participating in Loyola's Peer Education Mentoring Program and the Justice Summit Planning Committee, leading within the Multicultural Club as well as serving as an Ambassador Captain, and contributing to Dons for Dons Peer Tutoring, the Blakefield Players, National Honor Society, IGNITE Retreat, the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice, and Frank Fischer Summer Camp.

Brayden has also been involved in Loyola athletics as a member of Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field, Freshman Soccer Student Manager, and Junior Varsity Basketball Manager.

Congratulations, Brayden! We look forward to seeing the impact you will make, and build upon the foundation you established as a Don.
