Dons Win 103rd Turkey Bowl
Congratulations to the Varsity Football squad for their 40-28 victory over Calvert Hall in the 103rd Turkey Bowl held on Thanksgiving morning.
In front of a near-sellout crowd at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium, the Dons took control on their second possession of the game, taking a 7-0 lead on a 1-yard run by senior Tommy Tucker with 57 seconds left in the first quarter. In a thrilling back-and-forth offensive driven game, junior Kendrick Worthington proved to be the difference maker, rushing for 226 yards and three touchdowns.
