MIDDLE SCHOOL HOSTS GRANDPARENTS DAY, RIDGE RUXTON CARNIVAL, AND SPIRIT DAY
On Friday, May 12, our middle school hosted a variety of activities at each grade level. Read more about each event below:
The 6th grade Dons hosted their grandparents on campus for the morning. At breakfast, all grandparents who are Loyola Blakefield alumni were recognized and gifted a "Loyola Blakefield Grandparent" mug from their grandsons. After breakfast, students gave their grandparents a tour of campus and then celebrated Mass together in the chapel.
Our 7th grade students spent the morning down the road at Ridge Ruxton School hosting their annual Loyola Fun Day Carnival for students with special needs. Activities included bowling, story time, face painting and tattoos, music and dancing, and several small obstacle courses and games tailored to the Ridge Ruxton students.
Our 8th graders hosted students from St. Ignatius Loyola Academy for a Spirit Day and took part in several activities on Hargaden Field.
